Mamas' Art Time! Join local mom Karey Bacon as she hosts an art time for the mamas. Find child care for your little ones and head to the Big Blue Marble community room to snack, drink, and make art.

Phenomenal Women: A Sisterhood of Female Writers Calling all serious female writers! Our purpose is to have a space to brainstorm ideas, share works-in-progress, trade publication tips, and form professional relationships based on a shared passion for the written word. This group focuses on independent writing, workshopping, and publishing. This group is not for beginning writers. It is for writers who are ready to publish. You will be expected to critique and edit others� work. There is no leader as this is a sisterhood of equal members. We will also perform our work at venues around the city. RSVP only. Please email your bio and a two page sample of your work to phenomenalwomenwriters@gmail.com. This is a multi-genre workshop. We will be meeting every 2^nd Friday of the month from 12 � 3pm in the  Big Blue Marble Bookstore's community room.

Saturday, April 30, 2:00pm. Words At Play with Whimsical Sage.  Read from the book The Whimsical Sage: Words at Play for All Ages. Join in the magical fun in this one hour as we celebrate words and language. A FREE copy of the book will be given to participants to keep or to share.
