Gift certificates can be redeemed in person, by phone, or by email. Certificates can’t be applied to an online web order, but the workaround is simple: just email orders@bigbluemarblebooks.com! It is helpful to include the gift certificate number when redeeming, but we are also able to look certificates up by the recipient’s name.

It’s possible to combine gift certificate purchase amounts into a single certificate. Just use the button at the bottom of the pop-up box to tell us you want to combine the amounts and we’ll take care of it.

At checkout you’ll have the option to have us mail the certificate to an address or to leave the certificate in the store for the recipient to pick up. Our preference is to put it in the mail. We default to distinctive, ecologically conscious kraft paper envelopes with a Big Blue Marble label, but we can substitute shimmery red envelopes if you request one in the “special instructions” box.
